I've invented something amazing!!

Did I mention that the adaptors are 100% compatible with solar installations?
Yeah, but who can afford that, nowadays?
Fuel prices mean delivery costs are through the roof... and if threads on here are to be believed, you'll never find a tradesman who actually shows up to do the installation and safety certification, either!!

I saw the hated EU plug and hoped the OP had invented a replacement. Obviously, the whole world should be using the U.K. 13A plug, but even the Yank 3 pin would be an improvement of the cursed EU 3 pin plug.

Joking aside, this will actually sell really well.....and on a personal note, as someone who wants climate change to increase I very much approve.

Why plug something direct when you can go through two adapters, bloody genius.

If you do sell them, can you please make sure they are in plastic blister packs.

Yep, works perfectly with the supplied adapters.

Fair enough, but from your earlier posts I think you cheated to get that to work as you promised UK plugs to (note: not"for") whereas here you've gone UK>UK>Shaver*.

*Shaver is the true internationalist who feels at home anywhere but doesn't actually fit in well!

I stand confident that any appliance can work with my amazing device. That's the beauty of it.

There is one very major disadvantage to UK plugs which 'EU', Schuko, Swiss, and US plugs do not have.

Hint: why are Lego bricks dangerous in the dark?

The obvious negative feature of UK plugs is that you can step on them prong side up and the earth prong has been helpfully designed to be longer to better stick into your bare foot.

@KompuKare I think you will find that any right minded true blooded UK plug loving patriot knows that in fact the longer earth prong is in fact an additional safety feature we should all rightly be proud of.

That extra length (may the Queen and God bless it, as they sadly didn't me) gives your foot that valuable extra moments warning of the impending disaster that will befall the foolhardy, who continues to bear full weight upon said foot and meet the remaining twins of pain and misery.

Why not go UK to US to EU to UK and go after that true world wide market? Chuck in a power line adapter and smart plug for versions 2 and 3 and you're laughing all the way to the bank.

You can send me my royalties by cheque.

this is absolutely brilliant. took me a minute and a couple of reads of the op to work out what the hairy farts was going on but now that's out of the way all i can say is bravo op and i hope your hangover isn't too bad tomorrow, or whenever you sober up     :p :p :p :p

I think you should delete your post as soon as you sober up because I think your on to something.

The Shetland Islands generate more green energy than they can consume, so it could be cost effective to transfer it to somewhere where it's needed, like London for example. All those aircon units need power! So according to google, the distance from the Shetlands to London is 807 miles by road, and there are 1,609,344 millimetres in a mile. So that's 1,298,740,608mm total distance. Those combined units in you image look to be about say 100mm in length? That means you'd only need 12,987,407 of them to make a connection. A quick look on Amazon you can get the components for your invention delivered to your door for this Sunday for only 8.99 each!

The total cost for this totally green energy distribution system would be £116,756,780.66 but I'm sure you may qualify for a bulk purchase discount.

You could decide to not follow the path that google suggested and lay a path as the crow flies which would reduce the distance to 600 miles, a cost of £86,808,015.36 which is a massive saving of almost £30m! Amazing, you're already saving money! Don't worry about any houses or business that get in your way, we'll just get the gov to compulsory purchase them and raze them.

You are a genius!

Hang on, be right back, Rushi's at the door. It might be too late to delete your post.
