Well I joined the xbox 360 masses after selling my XB, PS2, GC and DC.

Got a premium and should arrive at the weekend.

Save for Gears of War (which is coming with it) waht other killer titles should I look to be getting.

Not really interested in anything thats been pc ported either as I have the biggies like Oblivion and the like on the PC.
 
i just bought a 360 as well with gears of war. To be honest i wasnt that impressed with it. Dont get me wrong the graphics are fantastic but i found the gameplay rather dull.

I bought pro evo6 which is really good if you like football games. If youre into racing then you cant go wrong with PGR3 another great game.

I think my next purchase will be G.R.A.W. as this can be bought fairly cheap second hand and is a good game.

all this is in my opinion of course and may not be the same as everyone else here (especially the GOW comments...)
 
Pro Evo 6 and PGR3 are added to my hitlist :D

Not to fussed for GRAW as I have it on the pc, its deffo a keyboard n mouse game that one.

condemned is brlliant and intense game. dead rising is a good kill everything game , cant beleive anyone finds gow dull thats excellent game u need to get yourslef online to .

to be fair i havent given it much time. The first time i played it was online with my friend and it just seemed like i was hiding all the time. You have these huge guys that look hard as nails yet you spend your entire time dodging from cover to cover.

Also IMO the sniper rifle is overpowered. You can shoot a guy in the head with a machine gun and he shrugs it off but a sniper rifle round to the head is game over.

Having said that, im not trying to start a debate. Like I said i havent really played it that much so maybe i need to give it more time.
 
Never touched Condemed for the PC and do quite fancy it, Dead Rising is a must I think.

When I first saw GoW i thought it looked a lot like Rogue Trooper on the PC interms of the hiding and stuff....Rogue was underated IMHO.

thats what your surposed to be doing it meant to be more realistic game play unless your rambo u do have to run from cover to cover blind firing to lay surpressing fire for you team as they move forward.

Download the multiplayer demo when you get your 360 online.

Also just to add most of the current 360 titles have demos available to download for free. Although some have bugs they do give you an idea of what the game will be like.

I guess it comes down to taste. I just find the combat difficult as if youre in cover and someone comes running at you its clunky trying to get out of cover and then getting them before they chainsaw you in half! Maybe when i get better at it ill start enjoying it though.

Or just blind fire! I do think GoW is a must have title, but I don't know if it is my favourite on the system.

PGR3 is top and can be picked up for quite a bit less than full price now. Dead Rising is another game to try. That is fun and different to everything else. Also, don't forget a few Live Arcade titles.
