Not seen gaffer tape on a mondy bumper before ....

Well looked after, not used by a builder to drag bags of sand around honest.

Engine looks ok though, bodywork needs a good rub back and polish.

Got a few miles on it, but it looks like a newish lump to me so i'm not overly bothered. Not as quick as the pug but it was cheap as chips so i couldn't say no.

The scoob? Bought it, drove it, realised i'd kill myself in it, sold it. In 5 days.

Tell me somebody paid you to take that off their hands! :p

:p duff pics due to borrowing a mates camera, don't think this car has been washed in a year, should look somewhat better after a few days care and attention.

Needs a pair of tyres up front and a handle on the rear driver side door and that's it.

200 quid suit ya? (with tax & ticket till end of december :D)

You bought a Scoob

You sold the scoob :(

Yup, and realised that i drive like an absolute tit when i have the opportunity, so selling it seemed to be the wisest thing.

Fair play to you. I just kept mine and carried on driving like a tit. Nothing's changed :o

I find the same thing. I'm actually genuinely concerned that the Elise is gonna cost me my licence.

Heh, the primary reason I didn't go for that Cosmo I pointed out to you is I don't have the money, if I had the money I still wouldn't have bought it as I know for a FACT that I'd need to keep my truck to carry all the tickets I'd get driving it!! :D

Cheap as chips for a turbo diesel. Not exactly the engine of choice, but for £200 you can't complain.

Now you just need to use a bit more gaffer tape to fashion an RSAP bodykit, get some four spoke alloys and you'll have Foxmobile replica :D

I know it's cosmetically rough but for £200 with T&T it's a bargain! Those 1.8 TD engines are pretty bombproof.

can it run on cooking fat tho? :p

EDIT: Or was it someone else who used to run a van on that?

heh, already checked, it's got a Lucas pump so it's no-go (unless i feel like fitting a second tank and some changeover valves.)

This is what puts me off buying a quick car. I squeeze every last bit out of performance out of my current car, which is fine as its got naff all power. The question is if I got something with 3 times the power would I still push the loud pedal through the floor all the time? I genuinely don't know.

The answer is yes.

If it's there - you'll use it.
