I've picked the LCD now I need sound!

Hanns-G JT261 26" < seems in my budget

Atm i'm using an old Cambridge DTT 2500 5.1 set, which have served me well over the last few years.

Should I just stick with it or go all out on a new sound system as well to go with the new screen?

well im on a 19" widescreen here with a 2.1 system. Sounds fine to me.

Having a seperate AV Receiver and 5.1 speaker setup I would ovbiously say to go for that because the sound beats any all in one solution or PC speaker setup.

Do you think a PHILIPS HTS3100 5.1 set would be a worthy update from what I have?

The set I does have an its own amp.
