Was looking at getting a splitter. Probably a stupid question, but will this still run both fans at full rpm?

I.E. It doesn't split the 12volt into 2 6volts?

I feel you would be best served running them from a molex connector. You can get converters and they usually come with the fans. You may take too much power from the Mobo rail by adding extra fans as your board does not seem to support them.

don't know what case you've got , but get a fan controller, either an akasa or the zalman 6, easy to install, one power supply to the controller from the psu, and run either 4 or 6 fans from the controller, at whatever speed you want (individually)

just seen antec p180 sorted

Hmm - I like the fan controller idea but I'm just looking for a quick fix.

I was gonna go for the 3pin to molex originally but I saw the splitter and thought it would be handier - & i don't like molex connectors lol

U reckon it would be risky to run 2 fans off one connector then?

running 2 fans off one connection connected to the board, i wouldnt entertain it.
consider this, ive got 6 120mm fans running off the fan controller, none to the board, your psu is more than capable, running that juice through the board is probably folly
