Thinking of getting the old Mach 2 GT out the loft and putting it on my 3770k.

It's been modded for 330w so it's about as potent as a single stage can be.

I managed to get a 5.5Ghz 24/7 clock on my 2500k with it and I've been reading that Ivy has much better cold scaling then Sandy?

Is this true?

It should scale well, don't see why it wouldn't.
The problem with IB has always been poor TIM, that's not a problem when you're running -20.

Guessing you've already delidded that chip, considering its running @5ghz :D so yeah, should be good.

I've always wanted a phase unit, never got round to buying one :(

It will be run on phase 24/7 pack.. It can do 5Ghz now so might not be worth it for the extra couple hundred Mhz.

I've managed 5Ghz on Phenom 2 x6's 24/7 and 5.5Ghz 24/7 on a 2500k in the past so was hoping for a bit more then 5.3-5.4Ghz
