Right Guys just need a bit of Advise what would go for my ivy 3770k, as im intending to overclock it to 4.5 i hope, which would be better
Antec Kúhler H2O 920 or Corsair Hydro H100,
just want the best cooling, but must not be to much noise!!

If you have low profile ram, i would recommend a high end air cooler like thenewoc has already mentioned as they are as good, if not better and also cheaper.
If you have tall ram, there are some air coolers like the Thermaltake Frio, Thermalright VX, that will fit or just go for the H100, but budget for 2 new fans, as the stock fans are LOUD

urrm i have 8gb gskill ripjaw x not sure which cooler would be best and one that wont get in the way! but liking the sound of Phanteks will that ram be ok with it?

I have the Noctua NH-D14 and i cannot fault its build quality! An excellent cooler and very easy to fit. Comes with two low noise fans and some pretty good thermal paste.

The Phanteks has 31mm clearance between the bottom of its base and the bottom of the fans when fitted squarely on. However, depending on the width of your case and whatever the max cpu cooler height recomendation for it is, may allow you to fit the fan that overhangs the memory slightly higher. The height of the Phanteks with the fans fitted squarely on is 171mm.

Noctua d14's are in stock. If you go for one of these I would go for the 2011 model and order the bracket you need from noctua for free. That way you get the d14 with their newer pwm fans.

Well you'll have to wait until you have a receipt for a d14 before you can order the bracket from noctua, there's an order form on their web site. Or you can google NM-I3 and purchase it for around £8. I'd imagine noctua send them out in the post so not that long.

Ive got an Alpenfohn K2 which does the same performance wise as the Phanteks but takes up less room in my case :p though it sits right on top of my LP RAM.

Silver Arrow for me and temps when running BF3 at 1920x1200 on high/ultra on my 3770k stock are around 40. Just getting the system all set up before seeing how she fairs OC'd.

silverarrow seems good about the same as the D-14 or phaneteck give or a take couple of degrees here and there, arrrrraah thinking H100 but i ll have to get a new case thou with 10mm vents at top!!!!!!
