Its just a matter of do i wait and see if there price drops or do i take the plunge and just get one nowI have been wondering for a while whether to go with Sandybridge or wait for Ivy. Is the wait going to be worth it?
Will be looking at getting one of these, should be a good jump from phenom ii x6 at 4ghz.
Hoping for a 5.5-6ghz overclock
.
if the high temps are due to the shrunk main part of the core-under water won't make much difference - it would still get hot
a high end air cooler would get the "heat" away - ie the power output from the CPU - but the implication is the heat is not getting to the heatsink quick enough
wouldn't be any different with water
What do you think the cost will be on the 3570k ?
