Hi guys

I have another thread on here talking about problems that I am having right now with a MOBO that can use Ivy Bridge & Sandy bridge ,

And going to be sending this MOBO back for RMA refund ..

So the reason I am starting this thread is to get a better understanding of which is better and why its better .
With out me having to spend countless hours researching it all my self I think there are some smart people round here and that can fill me in on all the details .

Thanks

What I should have said was ,

Which one should I go for.

I see that HASWELL is the newest on the market ,But would I see any better performance over Ivy Bridge ? and what are the benefits over Ivy Bridge ie whats so new about it ?

Please help share you'r knowledge .

Might as well go Haswell if you're buying new. If on the other hand you alteady have an Ivy CPU stick with it. Gains are minimal from Haswell but as it's newer makes sense to go down that route unless you're looking at second hand parts.
