Ivy Bridge wrong temperatures?

seems like i cannot find any software capable of showing true core temperatures of my 3770K

currently running on 4.3GHz with offset -0.060V, ALL software i tried shows insane temperatures:
ambient is about 19, core0 is 23C, core1 10C, core2 24C, core4 18C.
tested with CoreTemp, RealTemp, CPUID hw monitor, AIDA64.
all software latest stable releases.

asus thermal radar (software for my mobo, sabertooth z77, shows 24C, as well as similar readings in bios - no per core temp tho)

after strong OC (4,7GHz, 1,386V core readings 75 to 83, while bios/asus software reports mid 60s)

You haven't tightened your screws too tight have you? It may be that they are too tight and causing the pins to readout incorrectly for tempratures. Or your motherboards PCB may be bending. (Check both easy solution just undo the screws a little)

got EK supreme hf, so tightened it to the end of the thread and thats it, didnt have to use any force and mobo/retention plate didn't look like taking too much pressure.

will try to loose screws a bit and see if there's any difference.

edit:

2 full turns on all 4 knobs didn't make any difference, still core1 reports temp well below ambient.

nope, it's EK's H3O 360 HFX kit, so it's impossible to go below ambient.
(but i'm thinking about delidding cpu and putting a peltier plate between cores and water block)

just updated my bios, increased voltage a bit, readings are still incorrect.
apart of way too low temp on 2 of cores, difference of 10-odd degrees between hottest and coldest on idle is strange for me as well. (under full load diff is about 6-8 C)

In regard to coretemp and realtemp, how far does it say from Tjmax? Seeing as these readings are taken directly from the chips DTS i can't say its a software error, can you try it with a normal air cooler to verify?

You know I have a feeling he might of actually crushed a few pins when he installed the CPU or something. (possible is it not?)

Possible i guess.. I'm not au fait with the pinouts on cpus so can't really comment on if thats possible, could well be.. I'd try a reseat and an air cooler just to see if perhaps the cpu might have duff sensors.

before putting water on it i've been running on stock intel cooler.
idle temps weren't suspicious.
first OC seemed to be fine, 4.4GHz, but the next day got some weird behaviour - not being able to reach 4,4 (BSODs), constant fails of prime95 blend regardless of ram settings.
2 days later everything went back to normal, but started throttling about 95-100C, where TJmax is 105.
all of that without even moving pc around.

tomorrow i'm goin to put some more lights in my case, so will reseat cpu and reapply thermal paste as well.

that was single issue on air, now on water apart of that weird temp reading everything else seems to be fine.
if nothing will help, will try to rma cpu and eventually mobo.
