What's the rumours for the pricing on this?

I'm moving to 2011 with a 3820 and a bigger case, then I'll jump to the 4930k and watercool later in the year.

Apart from a leaked powerpoint slide, I haven't seen anything about Ivy-E and that it will use the same socket. Are we sure this is the case?

Why wouldn't Intel go straight for Haswell-E and a new socket over supporting a two year old socket?

Yeah, rumours are that Ivy-E might be skipped altogether with Haswell-E being the next enthusiast CPU range. Can't remember where I read that though I'm afraid.

Sadly no pricing rumors yet, however it has been confirmed that:

Are wrong :) (NB: 16 months != 2 years)

This is exactly what I'm saying. Who has confirmed it? Intel? Where is that source if you could please share. Leaked documents are not confirmations.

By the time Ivy-E comes out (if it does), socket 2011 will be over two years old, hence why I mentioned it.
