Ivy my CPU seems good! should i delid it?

don't use a razor blade!! its too flimsy

here's how I did it in this thread

and the pcb will actually bend a lot as you do it

http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...s-guide-7.html

oh and don't use a hammer either ohh god

its not a razor blade from a razor as such, its the blades with the metal edge that you hold, quite stiff the blade is. and as for the hammer and vice method, dont worry iam not doing that either. I just could not see how i could get under the ICH as its so tight against the PCB.

tbh i wouldn't bother you are close to limits anyway.

youll at best probably get 200 mhz more and shave a couple of degrees.

not worth the risk.

i was just thinking the same thing for an extra 200mhz max is it worth the risk especially if you paid all that money for the CPU and possibly blow it

I would not bother in this instance. its a good chip why risk it. Your not benching so leave it!!!

You need to assign most of your memory to IBT so that it runs for longer, 8 sec per test is like testing a cars engine in a small cul de sac. :p
