The user above says clock for clock SB-E and SB are identical they are not. WIth a gen 3 card the SB-E is faster. Also SB-E has a far stronger memory controller to SB with SB-E being able in some cases to do 2600, SB stuck around 2200.

They will phase out the 3960 and 70 for sure when the 80 arrives. IB- E looks great to me.
