I should be getting my new pc bits tomorrow, I5 3570, Gigabyte Z77 DSH and 16gb of Corsair ram :-)

My current Pc has 2 video cards in it so that I can use 3 monitors.

1 monitor connected to my Nvidia 460GTX for games, and 2 other monitors on an old ATI 3650 for my work.

Just wondering with my new i5 3570 can I sell off the ATI 3650 and just use the IGP for the 2 'work' screens and plug my main screen to the NVidia 460?

Is it better to keep and use the ati 3650 or use the IGP?

Thanks.

Which motherboard exactly?

You can run 2 monitors from the integrated GPU and the third from your GTX 460 for games.

The D3H, for example, has DVI-D, VGA and HDMI connectors.

You can use any 2 of those connections but note the DVI-D connector won't work with a VGA adapter.

Thanks, this one: Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Its got HDMI and DVI which is perfect for me.

Only concern I have is will using the IGP add more heat to the CPU? I was planning to overclock the CPU to around 4.4ghz.

I assume a bit more heat will be generated using the IGP but you'll be needing a decent cooler for 4.4GHz anyway so I don't imagine it'll be a problem.

cool thanks. I'm going to re-use my current system's 'Zalman CNPS10X Quiet', hope its ok.

Is this the same with my Z77 Extreme6, use my xfire 5850's to power my main (gaming) screen and the 3770k onboard for my second - work orientated screen?
