Ivybridge or Haswell

There would be little point in buying into a soon-to-be obsolete socket at this time. Better to get in at the start with a new socket than the tail-end of the previous-gen socket. Go Haswell.
 
Why hasnt anyone asked what GPU he is running?
GPU upgrade will most likely be cheaper and give better results than a board/chip combo...
