Ivybridge price?

Sandy prices a month back or now ? you would pay 260 odd for a 2700k a month back - now they're less than 220

I can't really see the 3770k being 220 ?

I've got a stack of new build parts waiting for IB ,real I5/I7 reviews will make the difference which i get ,my wallet is running very hot !.

If you look for i7 3770k bundle.. you can then strip the bundle down to see a guide price of what the cpu will cost.

i5 3570 £240 inc VAT ish..
i7 3770k £280 inc VAT ish..

Think i will stick with my i7 920 D0...

If those are the prices then IB definitely isn't worth it. I'd rather use the 10% discount code on a sandy bridge CPU and even if I didn't have the discount code I'd still buy sandy bridge. Only way I would purchase Ivy over Sandy if I was upgrading is if the price difference was no more than £20-30 more and even then I'd wait till the reviews about the heat issues on Ivy for overclocking.
