Ivybridge upgrade and my ram

Will my current ram Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9) [CMX8GX3M2A1600C9] work fine with a z77 and ivybridge chip when relesed

Yes, if it works fine with your I5 system you should be fine with Ivy Bridge.

I'm not 100% but I thought SB had upper ram voltage limit of 1.5, whereas the corsair site rates yours at 1.65??

Most of the manufacturers websites show their tested voltage of 1.65v, most will run at lower voltage without issues.

I have the Kingston Grey at 1.555v.

Im running mine at 1.5v atm
