iWork 09 Read Only Probs

Hoping someone can help, I submitted some work saved as a word document in iWork 09, but the person couldnt add comments as it was saved as read only. Ive tested this, and when I click get info on the file in finder, it says me- Read & write, everyone else - Read only.


Is there anyway I can stop it saving things automatically as read only to other users.
 
No if I understand correctly you want other users on the same computer system to have read write access, the issue is more likly the folder your granting access to has the wrong permissions set. Try setting the permissions for a shared folder and apply those permisions to enclosing files and folders.

not other users on the system but people I say email the document too, come through as read only for some bizarre reason
