IX38 Raid 0, and 3rd storage HDD

Hi,

bit of advice needed please..

I've setup 2x150gb raptors as raid 0 through the raid configuration. Installed os. I;ve put in a 3rd 1tb Samsung now, it sees it ok on the port, but through the boot sequence it says its part of the raid HDD even though in the config screen I've havent set it up as that.

In windows hardware it says its fine but it wont show on my computer. In Bios, I've set the Sata controller to raid for the 2 raptors, but I'm guessing this is whats making it see the Samsung as part of a raid also? I;ve tried setting it to other settings but anything else stops its seeing the raid 0 so wont boot to windows..

How can I make it see the Samsung as not part of the raid?

The Intel RAID boot screen will list every drive attached to the Intel SATA ports regardless of whether or not they are RAID'ed. It'll even list a SATA DVD drive if you have one connected.

Is it a brand new Samsung? And have you initiated it through Disk Management in Control Panel>Admin Tools>Computer Management?
