Advertised as a B1, ordered a B1, got a B2!

Will try to do some input lag tests later. Does anybody know what the recommended calibration settings are for this B2?

And what are your experiances?

Ok did some tests. Averages about 30ms input lag.

Don't bother with this if you play fast paced FPS games (like Quake, Warsow). But its ok for others like Doom3, Crysis, CoD, ET etc...

Colours are great for it.

Getting a refund. Will probably go for a Samsung 226BW now.

Cant mention any names but i was in the same situation as you. There appears to be a lot of online retailers that are doing this.

Old thread I know but I read this in another thread i.e. Difference between B1 & B2:-

The only difference in the product is the introduction of a piece of circuit called Dynamic Contrast Ratio. This improves the panels contrast ratio from 1000:1 to typically 3000:1.

As this circuit can have negative effects on fast moving games or action movies, it can be disabled via the On Screen Display.

I wouldnt worry too much if you end up with a B2;)

man there is so many post arguments b1 against b2 .

b1 does nto have any output lag. and b2 does thats the end of the story.

want to have without lag get b1 . but they pretty ugly.

want to have good looking monitor and good performance get 226bw as it has 1.8 ms of output lag. and i had both monitors i stayed with 226bw
