Hi Guys,

I'm seriously contemplating ordering one of these...has anyone used one? got one? seen any reviews etc etc?

I've got 2 x 17" iiyama prolite TFT's that are about 4 years old now and they have been brilliant and still work very well to this day :)

Thanks,
Jake

im a big fan of Iiyama to had a 17" Prolite for years. a few weeks ago bought a 26" Samsung T260..and i really don't like it, selling it now infact and am thinking of getting a iiyama again cos i know they are good for working on.

Decided I'm going to order one on April 10th :)

Shall post a review when I get it.

Been looking for a monitor upgrade for months and i think i have found it!!!

Phate- what was your review on this!!?

I never got round to ordering....funds :p

But hope to be ordering if this job confirms on Wednesday :)

I'll go for the Iiyama, these 2 I've got have been absolutely fantastic, still work asif they came out of the box yesterday. So I'll stick with them :)

finally got my monitor today 3 days early :)

Really really pleased with the results. Moving from a 19" it almost like having 2 of my old monitors put together.

I was shocked on how good this was considering the price

Anyone have any idea where i could find the best calibration settings? Perhaps a app ?

I have one, after a while mine starts squeaking very silently but just noticeable at night, whenever the power is plugged in but the monitor is off or in standby... So a mains switch would fix this prob... It only started after a few months though.

2 dead pixels...

That aside, screen works fine and for a TN panel the viewing angles are far from bad. The screen is very fast and has 3 inputs which is handy for multiple sources :). No problems using it about 10 hours a day for games, internet, films, etc...

What are the ideal settings that you found?. Been playing with the settings all night but not sure if it the best for movies and games.

Contrast
Brightness
Red
Green
Blue.

Cheers in advance.

I haven't really optimized my settings or anything, I'm not really an idealist if it comes to stuff like that, I use:

85 Contrast.
75 Brightness.
6500k color ( so one of the auto settings).

Probably could be optimized a lot better but I personalty cannot be bothered to do so tbh...

I do not use the profiles to switch the mon between gaming/films/browsing/etc... I use 1 setting for all.
