So I've mentioned in a few threads that I collection special/rare JD bottles

I've got:

160th Birthday Special Edition
Limited Edition Gold Medal
Limited Edition Monogram JD in Leather container
Special Edition Silver Select
1904 Gold Metal
2 Bottles of Green Label
2 Bottles of JD Honey flavour
Special Edition Matte Black version
7 out of 11 of the "Scenes of Lynchburg"

I will post up some more pics of individual bottles later

DRINK THEM?! some of them are worth over £200, if I get all 11 of the Lynchbergs they're worth over £1000.

I have drank a few, I got 2 green labels and 2 honey flavor so i can enjoy at least one of them lol

No, please stop putting all these interesting threads in the cooking forum. I'm not interested in browsing an entire forum section to find something that might be of interest to someone that doesn't really care what brand kitchen knives they have.

Not a bad collection there, I am also a collector.

I never bothered with the scenes of lynchburg since they extended the range which may never stop. What numbers have you got? I am surprised you haven't got a Jacks 2011 Birthday Bottle (Made for the UK only)

I keep meaning to get a Green Label, though I may wait extending my collection until I have more room and can visit Lynchburg :)

By the way, have you ever tried Monogram? By far the best JD I have ever had, I have another unopened bottle which will be for my wedding day :)

Mr Daniels would want you to drink them, it's for the best, really :D

I hate JD, but your collection is cool.

I've mused about collecting proper whisky before, mainly as an investment, but ultimately I think it's a waste of time. I'd just be too tempted to drink it!
