First go at HDR...

Taken yesterday with my newly acquired 20D. Seems a little dark to me, but C&C welcome. ;)

Good points:
- Think the HDR has been applied reasonably well. No unnecessary noise.
- Like the saturation / detail level on the grass. Others would say it's overdone, but I think HDR warrents a little over-saturation.

Bad points:
- Not the world's most interesting picture. The windmill is too big to be incidental, but too small to be a promenant feature. Also, the fence direction leads the eyes away from it.
- Fence colouring in foreground is a bit unnatural (I think?)
- Fence out of focus in foreground.

For just playing around with HDR, I'd say it's reasonable. The trick, as ever, is finding the right image to apply it to. :)

Sorry, changed the image and deleted the original from my Photobox a/c. It's back again!

Very nice. I think it could be improved if you try to clone out the cable running towards the windmill. It's a bit distracting. Nice work

Cheers for the comments guys.

The cable got left there out of laziness. I did clone it out on a normal LDR version, and it did look better w/o it, but I couldn't be bothered to do it again!

If I was to order a print from it, then I'd definitely clone it out ;)
