Jade Empire Special Editon (for pc)

I heard this is like kotor games. I saw a trailer but interface looks a lot less than kotor and stuff. Was woundering if anyone knows if it is like kotor or not, as in the gameplay where in you get companions, you talk to em, they each have a agenda and you can make em good or bad kinda? You do quests and level up like in kotor.

The thing that putts me off is the subject matter as in ninja stuff etc. But if the story is good like kotor style and gameplay is like kotor then i might try it.

So whats it like from those who have played it on their consoles. Or those who might be getting the special edition for pc this month when its out.

It is a very good game. I played the Xbox version and it was very KOTOR in many ways, but still a very different game. The setting is great, a break from the norm with a clever combat system. And yes, the good/bad thing is there, as is loads of characters and a good plot.

didn't this game come out like 2/3 years ago on xbox, before Kotor2 was released? why so long to release the game on pc and not jade empire 2 on pc instead? or am i being wrong and this is classed as number 2?

Was looking forward to this on xbox when it was being released but it turned out to not be as good as kotor as in much more jsut talking and is quicker. that said i think it said to be better then kotor 2 so if you enjoyed that you might enjoy this.

maybe rent it first?
