Ended up watching this over the last few weeks as the mrs wanted to

I am old enough to remember it all as it was happening but was pretty apathetic to it all

While her life played out in the media was entirely her own choice and she was complicit in pretty much all of it, looking back it was horrific how someone's entire life and that of their family was basically sold to and consumed by the public

I'm not entirely sure we have moved on as a society but we need to

Wasn’t she on big brother in the early 2000s? People born the year she was on TV are probably signed up here now?

I think she was first on on 2002, so yes, 17 years ago

Put a group of women (in this case) in a stress situation and they end up arguing, not liking each other and end up bitching. Hardly abnormal behaviour. I found her pretty annoying but do think she was excessively vilified over this incident. No doubt some of the things she said were unacceptable and racist but in my opinion the issues between the two were not racially motivated (maybe class difference and jealousy had an impact though). We'll never really know since she is dead and that's not really something to be happy about in the grand scheme of things
