Stellar Dawn is the forthcoming sci-fi MMORPG from Jagex, the creators of the highly acclaimed RuneScape. Set in an alien star system, Stellar Dawn will offer an exciting multiplayer game experience in your browser. Coming 2011.

Jagex are probabaly known for MMO's aimed at the younger generation, such as RuneScape. Even so, it's interesting to see how Stellar Dawn will turn out (re-named from Mechscape).

Jagex originally said that Stellar Dawn will not be aimed at the younger generation like RuneScape, but instead aimed at adults 18+.

It will be interested to see how this turns out. There is a beta sign up on http://www.stellardawn.com/

Stellar Dawn is the latest MMO from Jagex Games Studio, a leading online games publisher. Stellar Dawn is a combat-driven MMORPG with a rich sci-fi storyline.

Will there be a beta?
Yes! More details will be announced closer to the time, but sign up now so you don’t miss the opportunity to apply to take part.

How much will it cost to play?
The game will be free to play, with extra areas and opportunities available to subscribers.

What happened to Mechscape?
Mechscape didn’t turn out to be the game we planned, so we cancelled the project. While Stellar Dawn is also based on a science fiction storyline, everything else was reinvented with the exception of some concept art.

If the graphics are decent might give it a go, sci-fi mmo's are awesome, just depends how it's done.
