Jaggies with 4xAA?

Ive got a X1800XT 256MB and when i apply 4xAA in TDU i still get jagies, there not everywhere, the AA works in someplaces but for example edges of cars, bonnets, lights etc are jagged, Its weird and my friend with a X1950pro dosent get any jaggies with 4x AA. I am using official 7.4drivers and so is my friend.

Any Ideas?

Look at the yellow signs, they are smooth but the car is jagged

Strange, do you thinks its game related? Just its weird how my friend gets no jaggies with the same res same amount of AA and Same drivers

Maybe he has a different patch, i havnt patched it at all. What res at you on? mine is 1280x1024

There isnt a patch out yet for TDU so where both on the same version both at 1680x1050, both using 4xAA, both using 7.4 catalysts, only diff is mines a X1800Xt and his is X1950pro

Anyone know of any driver setting/reg tweaks etc that may help this problem?

Those yellow signs have vertical and horizontal edges, so there wouldn't be any aliasing. If they were at an angle, you'd probably see jaggies on them too.

Is there any type of AA or settings to Help this? Im pretty much stumped at what to try next

Ive tried this aswell, it helped greatly, but the problem was still there unfortunatly Might try EATM see if that helps

Try turning AA off in the Control Panel and set it from within the game, sometimes it can cause glitches.

what sort of fps does the x1950pro get in TDU? and was HDR enabled?

Anti-aliasing isn't applied to alpha textures unless you have super or adaptive sampling on. Alpha textures are basically flat textures or items such as wire fencing, plants/foliage, signs, etc.
