Jailbreak Backup

Guys,

I currently have a iPhone4 on 4.0.1 Jailbroken.

I would like to know if there is a way to take a jailbroken backup of the phone and then be able to restore it onto a replacement iPhone.

The data I am most concerned about is things like game progress and sms's as these are the only things I cant seem to restore once i have restore the original firmware and then rejailbroken.

Hope this makes sense.

aptbackup on cydia
definatly backup's apps
if they restore on a different jb phone in unsure,

Thanks, so what would be the process?

Restore firmware, sync from backup, jailbreak and then restore from aptbackup?

your best off googling it mate
all ive done is back it up ive not actually restored them yet as ive had no need to.
i think ( think ) it takes a snap shot and stores it on a server like sauriks server, then when you rejailbreak you reinstall aptbackup and there is an option to restore, im thinking it then takes your imei or iphone serial no and matches it to the saved backup and then restores.
im thinking u wont be able to go from phone to phone, i may be wrong tho
just gogle aptbackup and have a look
