Jailbreak Q

I know iOS 6.1.2 is JB but not 6.1.3.

Question is really for those who have JB for some time...

If when iOS 7 is out there is a JB for it, will that then enable me to JB 6.1.3 without having to "upgrade" to 7 (as 7 looks awful!)?

Thinking about an iPad but need JB to be able to run emulators!

No jailbreak has been done since 6.1.2, so when they jailbreak iOS 7, you'll either have to stay with 6.1.2 or move to iOS 7.
