Jailbreaking/unlock problem (hate this phone)

Maybe it's time to actually get a 3G, as I've had nothing but problems with this one.

Restored it, jailbreak/unlocked using QuickPwn. iTunes then attempts to restore all of my contacts, etc. Completes it, but as the phone restarts, it stays on the Apple logo as well as the spinning circle thing.

Tried it all again, but keep getting the same thing. Now though, it won't even restore at all.

I'm not bothered about the phone at all, it's just I don't want to lose my texts, contacts, etc. Not an option!

Any help appreciated.

You can't unlock the 3G, did it unlock? Sounds like that may be the problem.

Try downgrading to 7.7 and option/shift click to upload 2.1.

Still not working. Think I might just start again fresh.

Will my backup still be saved on iTunes? Is there any chance I can save it to a memory stick, etc?

Yes it will be. You on Mac or Windows?

What are on you on? 02 etc?

Will it restore to 2.1? If it does then you can activate through iTunes as it is an 02 SIM. Then you can jailbreak if you want third party apps.
