Jailbroken 1.1.2 iPhone No Edge Menu

OK this is starting to bug the hell out of me.

I have a OTB 1.1.2 iPhone, jailbroken using the downgrade to 1.1.1 and upgrading to 1.1.2 method.

No when I did this the first time the Edge Menu was there in Settings >> General >> Network but disappeared. Spent and evening trying to figure out how to get it back but to no avail. So I restored it and gone through the the whole process again, Edge Menu was there for a while but has since disappeared again.

Anyone else come across this?
 
Going from your previous posts it would appear you have a contract and OS X.. Correct me if i'm wrong.

You need to first download Fetch and this file.

You need to turn on SSH on your iPhone and ensure you are connected to a wireless network. Next go to Settings > General > Network > Wi-Fi > Click the little blue arrow next to your network and make a note of your IP address.

Next fire up Fetch, just click 'not yet' when it asks you to purchase. Enter the following.

Hostname: You iPhone IP.
Username: root
Connect using: SFTP
Password: alpine (unless you changed the SSH password when you installed SSH)

Then click connect.

You will be in the root of you iPhone.

Under 'Path' click '/' then navigate to /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/

In there you will see a file called O2_UK.plist make a copy of this just in case, and then delete it and replace it with the one you downloaded earlier.

Finally, restart your iPhone. You will now have the menu back (you will need to enter the settings if they aren't there) You can now turn of SSH.

Yeah I'm on the O2 Simplicity 25. Although I may just go with the iPhone £35 a month contract once I've got my number transfer from Orange out of the way, as work will be paying for it.

Thanks I'll give that a go just now.
