Jailbroken IPhone 3G Apps store set to US!

Hey everyone, I’ve recently jailbroken my iphone 3g and whenever I use the apps store, I get prices in $ and it doesn’t allow me to download anything, it says “Your account is only valid for purchases in the UK itunes store”

Can anyone help?

Sounds like you may have used a US 2.2 firmware image to pwn your phone with rather than a UK one?

(not sure how this is resolved entirely but it will involve repwning your phone unless a simpler process can be found)

Can anyone point me to the UK firmware file?

I'm quite sure the firmware updates aren't localised at all - so there's only one update for all regions. Check your Settings -> General -> International options out and make sure it's all set to English UK.

Thank you very much, just done this and restarted, it worked perfect.

The IPhone is an amazing device.
