My dog Jakie has just been put to sleep...
It's heartbreaking:(

He was a lovely smiley happy dog all of his life, never biting growling or misbehaving except going into the bins all the time and constantly wanting food :) He was a lively good spirit, and I will miss him every day :(

I have my videos and pictures of him, some of which I took earlier before he went to the vets, which I cant watch yet, it's too painful.
I also dont really know why I'm telling the internet, but I know there are those that can sympathise with this and maybe it would be a comfort.

the worst feeling ever, im dreading losing my 2nd dog (first was giving away at 3 as i was too young to look after ), shes 10 names Lulu and a ginger mastiff, u just need to learn to live with a heart ache and its so hard! soz about ya lost.

I know how you feel mate, our famly had to put our dog to sleep few years ago this month :(.
 
Sorry to hear it, i know how it feels. Lost my dog Max beginning of January, hurt like hell and still miss him now. Looked a lot like Jakie as well, but remember the good times, they help a lot in the end.

RIP Jackie. :(
 
I'm saddened to hear of your sad loss.

I am more of a "cat man" myself, but understand the pain caused by the departure of any much-loved family pet.

You have my sympathies at this difficult time.
