Hi,

Does anybody know when I can expect this to finish? The latest train home leaves at approx. 9:50  ... So unless it finishes in time for me to get out and run to the station then it looks like I'll need to organise an alternative method of transport back home...

Many Thanks.

Dan.

Hopefully it'll finish before it starts, i.e. James Blunt dies in a horrific "accident" and never sings again. I mean, I was going to go to this concert, but then I thought I'd have much more fun at home ripping my eyeballs out with a screwdriver and a pair of nail clippers! :D

Do you get razor blade free with the tickets?

So you can try and cut the fire off your burning flesh after setting fire
to yourself out of sheer deperation

You cant go to Nottingham and make it home. You will ALWAYS end up sleeping at the station :p

Any why oh why are you going to see him! My opinion of you just fell 10points dan ;)

my sis works at the arena and she doesnt normally finish there till 10:30 at the earliest when events are on so theres a good chance you'd miss the train. but yeah william is right, the busses run long into the night so that could be a possability

Present for the girlfriend ;)... Might loose ten points from everybody else but hopefully I'll gain a fair few more from her  ... Still - We'll see...

Meanwhile... Looking at getting back to Loughborough... A friend has offered to pick me up for £6 (To pay for fuel) which is really good of him... Although if buses are available then I may consider this so that I don't have to bother my friend... Which bus operator would I be looking for? Where would I find time tables etc?

Thanks for the help :)

who sets up his shows, this means i may be forced to watch the England game
on the big screen they have back stage at the Civic

This means im gonna have to drink Mr Blunts rider and may not be able to
punch him when he comes off stage

Rainbow 5 goes to Loughborough IIRC. Can catch it at Broadmarsh.

Just out of interest.......

The support act is a guy called Jason Mraz who is excellent! I nearly got tickets just see him but the thought of being seen at a James Blunt gig knocked some sense into me!

Let us know what Jason Mraz is like? -and I am only joking as all live music is a good thing and I am sure you and the girlfiriend will have a good night!

Hi guys,

Almost forgot about this thread so a bit late in replying!

Unfortunately on the Friday evening I got a real killer of a migraine (:()and was unable to go (Which was a real shame considering all the effort trying to get stuff sorted... But that's sods law, right?) - I insisted that my girlfriend should still go and take one of her friends with my ticket... She refused saying she wanted it to be a bit of a thing between us... In the end I had to sell ticket for face value (So also lost about £30... Could have been much worse).

I was disappointed... She was disappointed... Though I'm sure some of you guys would have me believe that I was pretty damn lucky to have escaped Blunt ;).

Anyways - Thanks for all the help regarding travel and everything... Just a shame I couldn't go in the end!

If anybody else knows how the gig went I'd still be pretty interested to know :).

Many Thanks.

Dan.
