Up the with the best of film composers imo. Got an Oscar for Titanic and his score for Braveheart was beautiful.

Such a tragic death at quite a young age.

He also did a lot of Star Trek music as well.

His melodies like Braveheart and My Heart will go on made films stick in people's memory much more than Zimmers do. His only rival for me is John Williams.
