Jan Hammer

Hi all, the first record i ever got bought for me was a Now Music! record from 1987, and it had Crockets Theme by Jan Hammer on it.

I consider this song to be one of my all time favourite chillout tracks, but would anyone recommend buying the Escape From Television album?

Are there anymore songs like it on the album?

I got "Escape From Television" in the 80's .. I quite like it still, it's a chillout album. All the tunes come from Miami Vice. Infact I'm going to stick it on now!

As a solo artist, maybe. But you can't knock Jan Hammer when he was in Mahavishnu Orchestra - one of, if not the, most influential fusion bands from the 70s. Excellent keyboard player.

I'm glad to hear that Escape From Television is a chillout album, i might buy this now.
