I found this expansion pretty much by accident, until then I had no idea Janes made a Korean theatre for Longbow.
The improvements over the plain Longbow 1 are fairly substantial:
-Ability to change armaments (including subtypes, eg HE or AP rockets)
-Supply limitations modelled depending on how well you do and what base you're on
-Manual rotor, engine control
-Programmable autopilot
-Ability to receive target information from other friendly forces
-Enemies call in their own air and artillery support when under attack
-Co-pilot\gunner is now playable
-Additional wingman commands, such as pop up and scan, hand-off target (will lock on but attack only when ordered) etc
-AI enemies\non-mission friendlies: now have their own orders every mission and will not necessarily do the same thing each playthrough
-Dynamic objectives in-mission
-Objects\units destroyed in one mission will not be there the next (dynamic battlefield)
-Additional systems on the Longbow can be damaged\more damage control options
-Unique sounds for every type of object (Mi-24 rotors will sound different to KA-50s, etc)
Of course, the new Korean campaign has the usual background, news FMVs, and accurate terrain\equipment
Not bad for 1996, although hardware accelerated graphics are still only Voodoo 1\2 only.
