yo people, i was going to buy i new pc this july but im going to save up some more pennies until after crimbo, does anyone know what new stuff will be coming out around that time and what like the i7920 will cost or the amd 955?

More seriously though, If your budgeting for 2010 then do the research on what to buy when you have the money as a lot can change in a few months in this industry. Rather than trying to spec up your dream unit now and hoping the price drops sufficiently to be able to afford it

Well the nvidia 300's should be out with dx 11 and all the i5 range should be to.

The i7 920 will probably be EOL by 2010.

As for prices who would have thought that the GTX 280 would have halfed in price after 1 month of the launch of the 4800's(ask when your buying).

personally im going to buy it now. It seems to be one of those things that dosent give MASSIVE increases, but isnt going to be seriously rivalled for a long time.

You can wait forever for pc stuff.

The i7 920 will be discontinued apparently during the September time i presume... so you should buy one now! Otherwise you will be stuck buying the more expensive i7's .
