January Transfer Rumours

Mikel Obi had the results of his course case today. Fifa told him his agent to send him back to Lyn a while ago. Then they came up with something claiming his contract with Lyn is invalid.

Court threw it out today and told him to pay lyn $22k legal costs. Its been put on Romans tab.

Hes on his way to Chelski whatever happens i heard

Dodgy Russian mafia men putting the frighteners on everyone

if u had offers from everyone else that is;)

we are hardly a team in the acendancy, and are infact regressing. our team play is non existant, and neither is the spirit or passion which epitomized our glory day teams.

we rely on rooney, who should be used sparingly as an additional boost to the team. yet we cannot play a semblance of football without him.

You paid £30m for the kid and recon he should be used as a supersub, is that what you're saying

The guy has a rare quality in that he can change matches and is your best player, it's not surprising he has a big influence.

so your saying that we should be totally reliaint upon one single player, especially him. at his age and time of life.

remove him and u have a pretty bad team, with little/no strength in center mid, lack of speed and flow, and an inability to hit the back of the net.

i see teams like real spend the cash on Robinho, and then Baptista, and then others. do they rely on Robinho week in and week out? answer me that

No I never said that, but you seemed to be suggesting that he should be used as a supersub role. Rooney is a class act and has a big impact on Man Utds success and to use him sparingly would be a waste of his talent. That was the point i was trying to make. You guys are still second in the table, admittedly a long way behind Chelsea but no one was going to challenge them this season.

Newcastle have taken French left back Yoann Lachor on trial.
He is currently with Racing Club Lens , out of favour and his contract expires in June.
Souness is also after David Thompson , who he says "is a proper player" and has made 8 appearances for a poor Blackburn side this season.

Excuse me while I go and wet myself with excitement....

The rapid decline looks set to continue and its apparent to everyone that we are skint and if there is a few quid stuffed behind Shepherds sofa , Souness aint getting it.

but we havent had any sucess? we are out of the champs league. drew against Burton albion, and cant play football without him?

he is a good player yes and should be used more sparingly otherwise burnout in a way like a certain Owen. and giggs hamstring never recovered despite the way we rested him when he was young.

remove Rooney and Ronaldo, and we are a very ordinary team across the field.

great fergie has said with vidic and evra on board spending is over.

WE NEED A CM !, even a blind man on a blind galloping horse in the dead of night can see that !

When fit, David Thompson is a quality player. He's not 10 million pounds of international but he's a better player than Lee Bowyer! ;)

Is Fergie banking on Smith being a fulltime decent CM then do you reckon?

yea, in an attempt to make saha look like the 11million which was spent on the one legged donkey that he is.

ive not seen many more 1 footed players than saha (excl. giggsy of course). surely he could have spent his months out training his right leg to kikc the ball?

instead we have the uver left footer with no right on the one hand and ruud the righty with no left on the other. its painful to watch:/

did anyone else knotice that saha could have easily scored a couple if he had an inkling of what to do with his right peg on sunday?
