Upamecano seems to be flavour of the month lately.I'd like is to get a center back in, not sure who mind

Pogba would be the first one out of the door. Fergie would never let a player try to be bigger than the club. Beckham, Ince, Stam etc all got the boot when they were too much.Pogba having an operation for no apparent reason and Mctominay out for two months. Someone needs to be bought this January window without fail otherwise you can say goodbye to any trophies or top 4.
The amazing stat is that we had a win %of 60% with Dembele in the side and it dropped to 40% since he left. From a Spurs POV, It's going to take a very special individual to come in and take control of the MF area to make any immediate difference. There's too much dead wood to sort out first...

I don't think there's been one main reason for Spurs struggles, it's been more of a gradual decline due to a number of factors. At one point you had arguably the best back 4 in the league with Walker, Rose, Vertonghen and Alderweireld - Walker's left, Rose hasn't been the same since he started talking about leaving and age & injuries appear to have got the better of Vertonghen and to a lesser extent Alderweireld. You then have not replacing Dembele, Dier's form nose diving and now Eriksen wanting out and not featuring much (and rarely playing well when he does). The last month aside, Alli's not been the player he was 18 months ago and you're watching Kane's body slowly break down.I think Walker leaving had a bigger impact tbh.. It was last Christmas when things started going wrong, against Wolves to be precise. Even before then, we struggled to get the points we got.
IMO, we need two full backs and two decent central and creative MFs. Sissoko just isn't good enough imo, Moura is too inconsistent and Eriksen.. well he's just on a picnic at times. Whoever we get, it's not going to fixed this season and yet here we are again, in another period of rebuilding which goes to prove that the two empty transfer windows we had were false economy.

Yea, at least throw in Phil Jones to sweeten the deal.46m for Maddison? Seems low.
I think that’d sour any deal!Yea, at least throw in Phil Jones to sweeten the deal.
Where is the laughing emoji?I think that’d sour any deal!
I would snap him up if i was a Ole just for the cover and experience if you could get a cheap deal or loan.Hearing rumours that Jerome Boateng May be on his way to Arsenal. Seems to have fallen out of favour at Bayern at the moment.
Not really sure we should be going for a 31 yr old CB. Could be a loan or a permanent sale. Heard that as long as we pay his wages then Bayern will let him come to us. Again not sure how true that is.
