Things there's still a long way to go in this, and wouldn't be surprised if it went up to the deadline. But if he did join it would be amazing... seeing as we absolutely cannot create any chances at the moment.
 
I saw Eriksen was linked with Brentford, but don't know too much about it. They looking to get him in on a long or short term contract?
 
The Gerrard connection rolls on it seems, after reconnecting with Coutinho, I see it now being reported that Gerrard is trying to bring Suarez to Villa too

Lanzini has come back into form. They also have Vlasic who hasn't had his chance yet but is threatening. They're well staffed in that area I reckon.

You'd also imagine that Lingard is on very decent wages, so it's much less of an obvious option for West Ham than last summer.
 
If Lingard does well and helps keep Newcastle up he’ll be a hero to the fans. He would get a very good wage there too, at least on par with what he’s on at Man U. I could see him signing if they get some good players in.
 
It's a bit like Trippier. It wasn't that long ago he was being linked to Man Utd and now he's ended up at Newcastle. Apparently he hasn't gone there for the money :cry:
 
Lingard to Newcastle on loan looking quite likely now.

Good deal all round. He might help them and we don't want him.
