Just read that we'll pay the initial £37.5m in installments of 12.5m over 3 years, should leave funds available for the summer window and hopefully Bellingham
37m for Diaz is great business imo, even more so when broken down over 3 years. If thats the deal then thats an incredible piece of transfer negotiating.

Alexander Isak is in London. Unknown whether he’s in negotiations with either Arsenal or Spurs.
Was kind of hoping he’d sign for Liverpool, but with Diaz coming in I don’t mind. Reckon he’s going to Arsenal.
That may be so, but 37m is still a very good piece of transfer business for someone of Diaz ilk.

I suppose only time will tell whether it is or isn't. Barring some YouTube clips and the games vs us I've not seen enough of him to say.
I remember Isak from the euro champs, he seemed pretty decent.

Well yeah, I mean that goes for every transfer really. After all some folks said the fee for Jota was too much yet looked at how that turned out, some even said the fee for Allison was too much but thats proved to be a snip. Imo, Diaz is definitely worth more than 37m, especially for someone with 2.5 years left on his current contract and a 67m release clause. Someone like him, for less than we paid for Keita and 2m more than we paid for Oxlade Chamberlain is, on paper at least, a terrific piece of business. Time will tell of course, as it does for every transfer at every club ever. But I'm feeling extremely positive about the deal.
