January Transfer Window 21/22

Who says the other targets are available, interested or fair value? There's probably loads of available players who aren't good enough, as well as a few good enough ones who aren't interested or don't represent good spending.

How many strikers have moved this window that you'd have been happy with (excluding those who turned you down)?

We have 1 good forward who doesn't score many goals, 1 championship level striker who doesn't score and offers nothing else and another who will likely never play again. I cannot believe Arsenal cannot do anything to improve that situation in the window.

EDIT

And as for central midfielders we have 2 premier league quality of which one is completely brain-dead. Again, can be and should be improved.

Lingard move apparently blocked by the MUFC board

Chelsea going in for Ousmane Dembele for some reason, 2nd enquiry according to sky. If Barca can shift him the Auba deal might be back on (pure speculation on my part) if there's enough time. Might free up some wages for us to bring someone in /wishfulthinking

So Rangnick told Lingard he can leave, he hasn't started a league game in two years and is out of contract in 6 months, yet the board have blocked it.

Not a sign of any sort of joined up thinking...

I can imagine Utd's position on Lingard leaving has changed in recent days. With a number of attacking players having left or going to be unavailable they're likely to need Lingard between now and the summer. Unless the finances were too good to turn down then it's no surprise they're keeping him.

Pleased we DvdB and Alli given the quality and now injuries we have in midfield.

Kind of on Lampard and the staff to get DvdB playing like he did at Ajax and in a position / role that suits him in the PL and the job with Alli is quite simple really to get him playing like he was a few years a go under Poch.

Or it'll be terrible and we'll still go down.
