i'm starting this thread purely due to the vast knowledge base in here.
i'd like you all to make the rest of us aware of any japan-only performance cars please.
sure, we've all heard of the FTO for example, but how many had heard of the Mazda Cosmo?

let's see what you lot can come up with...lets say performance cars 1990 onwards.

I'll add the Toyota Aristo Vertex to the mix, and the Silvia S15, Silvia K's, Q's.
Dont seem to remember the AE86 Corolla's being sold in the UK either but that would be before my time.

Nissan March (micra) turbo supercharger

Not sure if it was a performance car exactly but it was probably a lot of fun, Ive heard of them making as much as 165bhp and when it weighs only 770kg, thats a lot.

Yes and quite rare in the UK, used to be around 5 in the UK about 4 years ago, not sure if theres more now though.

edit: and although its compound charged, its really not 'that' quick. Fairly tunable though.

ae86's were sold here i beleive, dont think it was the pop up lights version, but the equivelant of the japanese levin with fixed lights.

What about the later corolla levins and trueno's, ae101 gt-z's, gt-apex and ae111 bz-r's. 160bhp goodness in either supercharged or na form.
