Jason Bourne to return.

It should have been called The Bourne Rehash, or Bourne By Numbers. Total letdown.

And that's even when suspending disbelief, as I didn't realise until I read Pseudo and Trusty's points above, how embarrassingly contrived most of it is.

There is something wrong with setting the final scene in Vegas involving a convention. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's just bad.

Complete dross.
Milking for all its worth.
I feel like I just watched middle aged men chasing each other around back alleys service tunnels and carparks in Berlin London and Vegas for 2h withe worlds crappiest car chase on par with mission impossible.
Save your money. Don't even rent or buy.

Really enjoyed watching this; once you stop thinking too much into the details, and just accept it at face value.

What does that even mean?

Of course, the whole CSI "clarify the picture", it takes 10s to hack everything, or opportune moment to find a tracker/spycam, etc, is not very realistic, but the movie was entertaining. It's the same thing with James Bond films. Things always works out in favour the lead character, otherwise we wouldn't have a film at all.

Quite possibly one of the worst films I've ever seen, if I'd been watching it at home I'd have turned it off after 30 mins :(

One of the worst films you've ever seen? Wow that's some hyperbole if ever I saw it.

The film is an enjoyable action film. It's clearly not as good as the original Bourne movies but it's fine for what it is, once you accept the IT stuff is really dumb.

Saw it last night. Someone needed to tell the cameraman how to hold a camera, I can do better with my phone.
Sure thing, Barry Ackroyd is only Oscar-nominated and currently President of the British Society of Cinematographers  ;)

Saw this last night, I wasn't hugely impressed but the girl I took to see it quite liked it. I think my having watched the first two again earlier this week (didn't get round to the third in time) spoiled it because I was expecting the same sort of atmosphere and writing, but instead it was pretty-much just a long action sequence from start to finish. The "hacking and tracking" was a bit cheesy for a modern film and the car chase scene in Vegas got silly.

We were trying to work out whether they were setting it up for another sequel at the end. I rather hope not. :(

Watched it last night at Shepherd's Bush Vue cinema. I quitel like it and it isn't as bad as most of the reviews are making out and I would give it a better score than Rotten Tomatoes but I'd agree that it's not as good as any of the original Matt Damon Bourne trilogy.

I'm not sure if the ending of the film implies that this is the last Matt Damon Bourne film as, apparently a Jeremy Renner sequel to The Bourne Legacy comes out in 2018 or 2020 I've found. Matt Damon is 46 in October and I can't see there being another Bourne film starring Matt Damon for at least 3 years by which time he'd be pushing 50. I wish they'd stop making non-Matt Damon Bourne films but I guess there's still money in the franchise.

One thing that does irk me is how every CIA director appears to be prepared to act corruptly to stop (kill) Jason Bourne/David Webb/Matt Damon, as if he's got some blackmail material on each CIA director individually and not just information about the black ops programmes being run.

Awful, just absolutely awful.
Same as the 2nd film, with people finding random files on the hunt for that mysterious person at the top with lots of JB just getting into situations and being chased, sitting in control rooms barking orders at retarded henchmen etc, constant anticipation violin music in the background. Boring boring boring.
Damon must have some debts or something because to come back and make this toss was a waste of time and a step back after The Martian.

The missus got tickets a few weeks in advance, it was still pretty bad despite having been well-warned in advance.

More Jack Bauer, than Jason Bourne - well, less shouty, but still not really Bourne.

Use SQL to corrupt their database. Lol, just...
