Java Application on Phone?

Hi guys. I'm doing a project at uni and i'm a little stuck on how to go about making it. Basically the group project that we chose is to send SMS text messages through a phone with the use of javascript. I need to kno basically how to go about doing this?

Javascript runs through a web browser...

If you mean Java then you can compile a Java application as J2ME I believe. NetBeans seems pretty good for developing mobile applications as it has a decent phone emulator built in.

BTW, which uni are you at?

thanks for the reply mate, ill try give that a go. Im at Nottingham Trent mate..

edit: just looked at that program looks like exactly what we're after! Any experience with the program? Difficult to use? etc.
