Everytime I build my project into a jar file with netbeans and try to run it I get a fatal exception error message and the program exits. Does anyone know what can cause this?

Also when I select "run main project" from the run menu, I get the error "java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main
Exception in thread "main"".

I did, but it's the same as before. If I do cd c:\ and then type path, it appears there. Still get the exception though.
 
The path has now been added properly, shows as

"PATH=C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\QuickTime Alternative\QTSystem\;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_04\bin".

But I still keep getting the error. :(
 
Yes I have and I'm able to run the file fine from within netbeans.

Running the file works fine, but the project won't run.
 
Now I can run the project in netbeans, but I get the error "Could not find main class", when trying to run the jar file.
 
And If I try to open it from the cmd prompt I get,

I have 1.6.0_3 and 1.6.0_4 installed. I get the same error when I tell it to use the java.exe 1.6.0_4 program to open the file.
 
Thank you so much, I have finally done it using that link to pack the swing-layout into my jar file by editing the build.xml file. :)
