I've just tried to install Java version 1.4.2.
The installation goes through fine but when you try and go into the java control panel all i get is the outline of the box and nothing in there. Sometimes i open the box and see the options but it won't let me click on anything except the window boxes (i.e the x and the _ )
any ideas?
I need to install websphere application server community edition and it needs java to work. If i ignore the java thing (even though it's installed) i get the same issue with the installation boxes of websphere.
any experts out there?
