Java Tutorials (University or harder please)

Getting back into Java for some research project after a while apart and want to do a bunch of tutorials to get into the swing of things. Ones in the sticky and elsewhere on the net just seem to give you a lot of theory and an example which is fully coded. Im fairly good at understanding things but implementing from scratch is what I need practice at.

Therefore any uni go'er have a link to a bunch of java tutorials? The kind with a basic skeleton you add to and maybe basic help clues? Or of course anything similar from others.
