Anyone know of any decent ones? I have done some programming, in C++ and learnt (more importantly understood) functions, pointers etc and OOP some basic inheritance. So I am not startiong from scratch with the basic concepts.
But this was almost a decade ago and since then I have only been editing other peoples PHP to meet my own ends.
I dropped out of uni 'cos of my health and am going back into studying for a degree but this course. The course is based around Java for teaching and I would rather not start by going in with only my 10 year dormant knowledge of the wrong langage
